Life Changing Website: Collective Revolution
Sorry in advance for the long Post, this website is just too good!

Today I want to talk about Collective Evolution, an education website that consistently posts interesting articles ranging from all different topics. In the past, they have come out with a lot of great and useful information about serious and fun topics.

Their major topic headers include consciousness, news, health, lifestyle, and science & tech. This site is geared towards people looking for an alternative news source, looking to learn new things that can benefit them. If you all continue to read my blogs, you will begin to realize that I am somewhat of a conspiracy theorist. I am always questioning the world, my thoughts, my decisions, societal conventions, etc. This website produces a lot of alternative thinking material that helps foster a higher level of consciousness about the world around you.

This article entitled “8 Ways The Global Elite Manipulate Our Perception of Reality” by Kalee Brown is a recent article I read that highlights exactly what I love about Collective Evolution. It talks about ways that our society imposes its will on the public. Each topic she discusses really hits home and resonates with me. One example is the Mass Marketing topic. Brown talks about how because of media advertisements, it is difficult to say whether we are making choices (such as what to wear or eat or buy)  because we like them or because we were told to like them. Another great topic is her discussion on the education system, which does well highlighting the pitfalls of education in America. She references a video that illustrates how the education system instrumentally indoctrinates our youth into a system of obedience and conformity without teaching them any useful life skills like construction and car maintenance.

The education system suppresses free and original thought, and encourages conformity and obedience. Articles like this are so inspirational to me because they bring that ever so important reminder to resist the societal temptations to conform. They are all around us and are constantly influencing us.

My tweet below is a quote from Aldo Leopold in A Sand County Almanac which demonstrates to me how hard it is to resist the urge to conform. We are social animals and need to interact with one another. But we can still resist conformity!

Other ways that Collective Evolution excels is by providing ways to improve your life. It could be through new technology that you may be interested in or emerging health research that could benefit your overall health.

For example, a recent article titled “Scientist Say You’ll Be Healthier If You Get Your Protein From Plants, Not Meat”  , Arjun Walia references multiple peer-reviewed articles and medical doctors specializing in nutrition demonstrating the positive effects of a plant-based diet and the negative effects of an animal based diet. Articles like these are great alternative news sources to get you to reconsider prior dispositions as well as social and cultural conditioning. This particular article reminded me of a documentary I saw in college called “Cowspiracy” which talks about the negative environmental impacts of raising livestock. The film exposes how with the resources we use to feed the livestock industry, we could feed the entire world population and have food leftover. You can find Cowspiracy on Netflix by the way.

Speaking of cows, Collective Evolution will highlight issues that totally change your perspective on things! Like when they posted this video where this girl just destroys the dairy industry:

This video was accompanied by an article by Arjun Walia again where he discusses the issues that that this woman raises. The articles he sites provide evidence counter to all the things we have been told as kids about the health benefits of the dairy industry. Like the phrase ‘Drink your milk so you can get strong bones!’. Well turns out a giant study by the British Medical Journal “concluded that milk consumption is associated with men and women being more prone to bone fractures.”

Arjun goes on to list additional facts about the negative impacts of dairy. He also raises questions, like why are we the only species drinking milk past infancy; why are we the only species to drink another animals milk?! Not to mention that a lot of humans are lactose intolerant!

That is what I love about Collective Evolution. It highlights facts and information that totally changes your perspective. Until college, I had been an avid milk drinker. It’s articles like these and documentaries like Cowspiracy that can change your life.

Although this blog was long, I feel it only scratches the surface of what there is to discover on Collective Evolution! They are a must follow on Facebook.

Thanks for listening!
